Development and evaluation of a new design and optimization tool for complex air intakes in highly integrated engines. An optimization concerning flow losses and fan sight is carried out at the example of a generic double S-shaped inlet. Massive areas of flow separation of the initial design were largely reduced by an innovative inlet shape.
